Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), a densely populated city, is India’s largest city and located at the west coast. It is known for being the Financial Centre and the heart of Bollywood film industry. This city holds historical colonial buildings such as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Gateway or the Mount Mary Church. Mumbai roads are crazily congested and are poorly maintained.

Most of the people do not own a car, so they take the overcrowded trains. Streets are invaded by Dabbawalas (persons who carry containers of fresh food to be delivered to office workers) at lunch time and Shopping malls are constantly transforming the shape of the city year after year. Although, Mumbai the social class disparity is hugely evident, this city, with its characteristic scent of spices in the streets and the simplicity of its people, will make you fall in love by its charm and uniqueness.
