HAMBURG (Germany)

Hamburg, the second largest and wealthiest city in Germany, is a harbour connected to the North Sea by river Elbe. Founded by Emperor Charle Magne back in 808 given its strategic position and potential for trade with the Scandinavian territories. Since that time Hamburg has been a city of prosperity, having in the 1500’s the third Stock Market Exchange in Europe.

A hot spot for sea food lovers, given its proximity to the sea Hamburg restaurants offer a wide variety of fresh sea food. Hamburg has a very youthful vibe as there are important universities around.
